What is an Advisory Board and what value do they provide?
The role of a Board of Advisors for a small business is to provide guidance and advice to the business owner. This can involve a variety of tasks, depending on the specific needs of the business, such as:
- Strategic Advice: Advisors can provide valuable strategic advice on important business decisions. This can include insights into market trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
- Network Connections: Advisors often have extensive networks that they can leverage to benefit the business. They can introduce the business to potential customers, partners, or investors.
- Specialized Expertise: If the business owner lacks expertise in a certain area, such as finance, marketing, or technology, they can bring on advisors who specialize in these areas to provide guidance.
Who do you work with?
We work with B2B business owners with at least $75,000 in revenue, that have an expertise or service-based business, ideally have 15 years of corporate experience (hello Gen X), and are looking to scale
How does it work?
We wanted to keep this as simple as possible. We created a one-stop shop to support corporate escapees that are looking to 10x their businesses. You can build a successful business by yourself but if you want to scale a business you will need help. This is where we come in. We cut through the BS and sales pitches to help you figure out exactly what you need. For example, in marketing do you need help with social media, email marketing, content creation, or just your LinkedIn presence? We also help with technology and tools. The bottom line is we want to help you find ROI on all your investments.
Do you work with international businesses?
Yes, we do!
What type of services and support are available?
If your business needs it, we have a specialist for it. We will also help you determine what help you. See the Q&A about how the program works.
How many experts do you have?
Our network is now over 50 strong. They all are highly qualified and work with businesses like yours. We are always looking for high-quality service providers, so you don’t have to.
Do I work directly with each of the specialists?
The short answer is yes. We will help you find the right resource or partner and then you work directly with that partner. In the future, we may offer the services directly but for now, you work directly with them and verify them as a partner.
Your service sounds a lot like the book Who Not How written by Dan Sullivan and Ben Hardy.
You are correct. We are big believers in the concept and built our services around the core principle that the right WHOs will unlock your business. What the book doesn’t address is how to find the right WHO and that is where we come in.
